Things have been crazy so far this year. My family has been attacked (not physically) by people so my focus has not fully on my business or my goal of completing my 52 Series. I have also relocated from the DMV to Dallas, TX. We are still unpacking but I'm excited because I have a few projects on deck already. So hopefully soon I will be able to update you and show you some of my new work.
1 of 52 the classic headshot. Yes I am now wearing glasses. Back in November my wife decided to schedule an eye check up. I have always had 20/20 so I was not worried about anything. When I sat in the chair I thought I was blind I couldn't see a thing. I was like is this some kinda of sick joke. I can't believe I now need glasses (only for night driving and if I spend more than a hour at a time in front of the computer). Well after we got the glasses my wife looked at me and said you are sexy. Yep gonna get some more frames real soon gotta keep it fresh.

I am excited to share with you my first book cover design that has been published. This was a fun project that literally fell into my lap. I consider the authors my other parents so I was honored that I was asked to redesign the cover for them. With the exception of the back photo the all photos are stock photos. Hopefully this is the beginning of something awesome.
I had the opportunity to shoot William "Monte" Robinson aka Free Will. This dude has an amazing spirit and a sweet voice. He is just getting started in the industry but is definitely on his way to do some amazing things. Look out for him and prepare to be blessed. Below is part of his press release and links to his music.
New music from Free will “Real” has a soothingly smooth beat that will put you in a quiet place of reflection. The instrumentation and the essence of this song are so creatively arranged. The lyrics are some that anyone who is doubting or trying to get back to the foundation of what they know can listen to and be encouraged.
The guys over at fstoppers gave a sneak peek from their DVD. Its awesome information. www.fstoppers.com/weddingdvd Here is a short excerpt from our 14 hour digital tutorial on all things wedding photography
I came across this video online today. And all I can say is wow...I am using this method from now on. Read what the author of this video had to say:
"Using a method you've never seen before, I will show you the best way to remove bags under eyes and adjust mismatched skin tones. Follow my work: https://www.facebook.com/DaniDiamondPhotography Join The project for a free headshot: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Theproject1/ When retouching in Photoshop, there are many different ways to achieve the same thing. Personally, I always struggled to find the best method to remove under eye darkness. Like everything else in Photoshop, there are a slew of methods to correct this, but each of them had their weaknesses."
